How do I connect to the virtual Classroom(VCL)?
To connect to the virtual classroom, you can follow these instructions on our site: https://www.engr.colostate.edu/ets/virtual-classroom/
I connected at school and my dorm but can't connect at home.
If you are on the csu-net internet you can connect directly to the VCL, when off-campus you will need to connect through Global Protect, instructions are here: https://www.engr.colostate.edu/ets/vpn/
I tried log in to the VCL and it gives me a green or black screen.
Sometimes connecting to the VCL will result in a hung session, you can email/call us and we can force log you out so you can start using the VCL again. If this happens outside of normal operating hours, you can wait 2 hours for the session to time out allowing you to sign in again. Do NOT try to login prior to the 2-hour mark or the clock will start over.
My work is not being saved when I get back to the VCL, why?
The VCL is not designed to store your documents, everything should be saved to a network drive (like U: or T:) or the Cloud. After 3 hours of inactivity the VCL will force a user off WITHOUT SAVING ANYTHING, so make sure you are regularly saving your work.
