How to setup your Shared Mailbox in Outlook:

Note: You will not be able to setup your own CSU email account within the Windows Outlook application. You will have to use the online website instead, portal.office.com

Then you can setup the shared mailbox in the Windows Outlook application.

If you already have your CSU email setup on Outlook (on the computer you're using), go to Control Panel, Mail, Profiles and delete what you have there. The next time you open Outlook it will ask you to name a new profile (Doesn't matter what you call it) and then you can proceed below.

1. Open Outlook

2. Enter the Shared Mailbox name in the email address field and click Connect (this is just an example of a shared mailbox, you may have a different name):

3. You will then get the Microsoft Sign in Screen. Do NOT click next. Enter YOUR eid@colostate.edu:

4. Enter your CSU eid password at the next screen and you will have to authenticate with Duo. It may take a while to continue and then you'll see "Account successfully added". At the bottom, uncheck "Set up Outlook on my phone, too". If you get a message about allowing CSU to manage their account, select Yes.

5. Done!

You can also access your shared mailbox online. Here is the link to find out how to access it: http://help.mail.colostate.edu/tt_o365_shared_mailbox_owa.aspx
